what to expect before, during and after treatment

step 1
consultation + skin analysis
We'll select the appropriate peel depth (Tier 1, 2, 3 or 4) based on your skin type, concerns, skincare routine, and sun exposure history. We'll also set expectations for downtime and results. New clients are required to book a consultation prior to receiving a chemical peel.

step 2
cleanse + prep
We begin treatment with a gentle cleanse and a prep solution to remove impurities and balance the skin prior to application.

step 3
peel application
We will choose a peel formula tailored to your skin type and goals. You may feel mild tingling, warmth, or tightness as the peel is applied in layers. We monitor your skin's response and adjust the number of layers and pressure accordingly. Deeper peels may produce "frosting" which is normal and expected for various types of acids.

step 4
Treatment enhancements
Based on your treatment plan, we may include extractions, dermaplaning, or microneedling to boost results.

step 5
post treatment guidance
You’ll leave with personalized aftercare instructions and professional product recommendations to support healing and enhance your results.

step 6
The peeling process
Light peels will cause mild flaking for 3-5 days. Medium and deep peels cause visible peeling over 5–7 days as damaged layers shed naturally. New skin beneath is smoother, more even in tone, and continues to improve over the following 2–4 weeks as the repair process unfolds.
